Welcome to the website of the HSV Supporters UK, the foremost Official Club for Supporters of Hamburger SV in the UK.

We have been supporting the club for several years. And although we are still awaiting our first proper trophy, every year we are determined that this wil be our year.

In 2004, we set up the supporters club to act as a meeting point for all supporters wherever they may be and not just here in the "Motherland of Football"

We arrange occasional visits to Hamburg and elsewhere in Germany to watch our team play. Last year (2010-11) we went to a total of 6 games wite a record of just 1 win, 2 draws and 3 defeats. We saw the home games v Stuttgart (won), Mainz (lost) and Monchengladbach (drew) We also went to away matches in Leverkusen (drew), Frankfurt in the DFB Pokal (lost) and FC Koln (lost).
So some good days, some not so good days and we can hardly claim to be talismans. But win, lose or draw we always have a good time and enjoy the world-famous German hospitality.

In the past couple of seasons we have also had the chance to welcome the team on visits here to Britain. As well as the visits to Celtic and Fulham in the UEFA Cup in 2009-10 we also enjoyed a 4-3 aggregate win over Manchester City in the quarter finals of the UEFA Cup in 2008-2009. These "away matches at home" have been great fun.

Since the beginning we have an "open" membership. You don't have to sign any forms, or get a membership card, or even pay a subscription fee. We just ask that you promote the good name of HSV and its supporters.
